Mike's new job!

SO... after I wrote my first pointless blog, Michael reminded me that we actually do have very exciting news! Today Mike went in to talk the guy in charge of "visual communications" at Independent Study (right now he works there doing data entry). Mike has really wanted to find a job that is more related to his major, and he was really getting sick of the job he has now. He has been there for about four years! Anyway, after months of trepidation, he finally got a meeting with this guy for graphic design. Mike showed him his portfolio and then the boss didn't waste any time in asking when he could start! So, Mike now has his first job as a designer. I was so proud of him! This job should be a really a good opportunity for Mike to get experience in the field before he graduates. Now we just need to find a decent paying summer job for me! :) Of course, every post basically needs a photo to keep it interesting.
