My super handsome husband is very talented! (see below)

YAY! I rock because I got Michael to actually "contribute" to our blog! That is a great accomplishment for me. :) Also, tonight I finished my last final! Due to a little bit of miscalculation of time, I had 3 tests left to take just today. Yikes! Luckily the lines at the testing center weren't as bad this year as the last so I didn't really have a problem. Anyway, that is all. Thank you and good night!

My amazingly beautiful wife is very smart!

Well, I guess this is my turn (more like my wife made me do it!) I really don't know what to write, so pretty much, I will write what comes to mind. We have had an interesting week of finals. It was definitely very busy. On one hand Alison partied all weekend long and Monday, Tuesday and today she was very busy studying 'til very late hours and pretty much taking tests. I (even though didn't do so hot on finals) have been busy the last 20 days every minute... As my wife once told me, life is not fair... I was pretty happy with the results of my portfolio and hope to get a very good grade on my Illustration class. Here are some pieces from my portfolio.

Also, I hope I can get at least an A- on my typography class. Alison has done very good in all her classes for which I'm very proud. She has worked really hard the entire semester and we can see the results through her grades. GOOD JOB wife!

Alison's new job!

Last week I wrote about Mike's new job, and now I have a new job as well. Mine is not so exciting as Michael's, but it is exciting to know that I am not going to be unemployed for the summer! I used my great food service experience from the Cougareat (where I have been working this past school year) to get a job at Kneaders! Hehe. I think it is a little bit of a "classiness" move up from Subway, and hopefully a significant pay increase as well. I think I am going to be paid $10 an hour (compared to $7.20 that I have been making on campus). However, the guy that hired me never mentioned my pay during the interview, and I was a little too afraid to bring it up. Anyway, I better get 10 dollars because that was basically my minimum goal for the summer. I said I wanted at least 10 in my application and the job was listed as up to 10 dollars, so hopefully yes. Anyway, I really don't know how it is going to be, but I start on Monday so I will find out all the details then! Now back to studying for finals!

Family

Right now Mike is staying up late finishing one of his final projects for school. I am also staying up late to keep him company. :) However, since I just finished all of my big papers, and I have a few days break before my exams, I am enjoying this semi-free time to do whatever random stuff I want! It's grand. For example, I created these compositions of my new, little family and my original family... I like them both!

Mike's new job!

SO... after I wrote my first pointless blog, Michael reminded me that we actually do have very exciting news! Today Mike went in to talk the guy in charge of "visual communications" at Independent Study (right now he works there doing data entry). Mike has really wanted to find a job that is more related to his major, and he was really getting sick of the job he has now. He has been there for about four years! Anyway, after months of trepidation, he finally got a meeting with this guy for graphic design. Mike showed him his portfolio and then the boss didn't waste any time in asking when he could start! So, Mike now has his first job as a designer. I was so proud of him! This job should be a really a good opportunity for Mike to get experience in the field before he graduates. Now we just need to find a decent paying summer job for me! :) Of course, every post basically needs a photo to keep it interesting. So, here is a very fascinating picture of my dear husband for your enjoyment:

We are cool!

So, Michael and I (well, just me, but let's pretend) have been noticing a trend that all the married people these days have blogs. Since we are very interested in keeping up with the trends, and we want to prove that we are married, we decided to get one too! It seems like the first entry is a good time to establish our identities. Pretty much we are really good looking and awesome (this is to be proven below).

Wow. I think the picture basically speaks for itself. I don't know what else there really is to say about us. We honestly have pretty boring lives, but maybe we can become more interesting now that we have something to keep it on record. Actually, I have been thinking that I should start writing in my journal again. However, since I've basically become too lazy to write it by hand, I was thinking this might be easier and maybe I could keep track of my life a little better. So basically this could be like a joint journal of our marriage! Awww! It's so cute!
